Proper installation, effective application and habitual maintenance are very critical to the actual effect of the transmission system and the service life in work. The following matters must be noted:

Shipping and storage

1. The transportation of the coupling should be carried out under the level condition to prevent damage. Pay attention to smashing rolling bearings when you learn to put them down.

2. The storage of the coupler should be placed in a dry place to prevent wind and sun and rain. It should be prevented from being together with chemical substances such as strong acids and bases or solvents during the storage period.

Installation and application

1. The installation of the coupling must be in accordance with the design plan, pay attention to the layout method and the same position of multiple shafts. Both sides can act positively or passively under normal circumstances. However, as far as possible, the spline joints should avoid vibration sources or shock sources.

2. Before installation, the vegetable grease and paint on the joint surface of the clean flange should be cleaned, and the elements that are not good for the joint surface should be removed.

3. The red arrow symbol of the spline shaft and spline sleeve must be aligned to prevent displacement.

4. For the high-toughness bolts connected by flanges, the physical performance level of the nuts should meet the requirements of 10.9 / 10.

5. The installed coupling is re-tightened after running one shift with load, so repeat 2 shifts in this way to prevent loosening.

Universal drive shaft maintenance and repair

1. The newly produced coupling has been lubricated with grease, so there is no need to give oil immediately. If the coupling that has been stored for about three months must be refueled,

2. The lubrication of the coupling is generally selected to be No. 2 lithium-based grease. It operates for 300 hours under a standard, and it must be oily once a week under high temperature standards.

3. During normal maintenance, all couplings in normal work only need to listen to whether there is abnormal noise during operation. See if the axial tremor is faster. Is the anchor bolt of the coupling loose?

4 The maintenance period is generally in the large half of the year. Check the damage level of the rolling bearing or cross shaft during the overhaul. If the damage is serious, it should be replaced.
